I'm not sure how you're personally measuring "easier" and "more consistent." Personally, I use win rate as the measurement.

At the end of the day, the scoring requirements on the Plasma Deck are twice as big.

Planet Cards give 10 times as much Chips compared to Mult. Jokers generally give 5-7 times as much Chips compared to Mult. If you have Bus and Ramen, you're getting +2 Mult per hand, which is half of the Chips you'd get from Square Joker. The only way you "get ahead" on Mult is with more than one Mult Joker.

"A good Mult build" may get enough Mult to be at least equal to Chips. Notably, when your Chips and Mult are already equal, no benefit is gained from the Plasma Deck, but the scoring requirements are still twice as big. A 150k hand on another deck, easily clearing the final boss in 3 hands, might only score 170k on the Plasma Deck, failing to reach 800k even with all 4 hands. Builds which win on other decks are actually very likely to fall short on the Plasma Deck.

Notably, your definition of a "good" build may be different from mine. Sure, if you're scoring 500k per hand with Photo and Chad, that's going to work just fine on the Plasma Deck, but I prefer to win all my runs, not just the "good" ones.

bloodstone is actually a good joker because the 1/2 makes it actually balanced for an uncommon. people hate on bloodstone becuase of it's inconsistency, however I would argue that you only need to play heart flushes which is something you can deck fix to play multiple of. People will go “oh there's a chance that none of your bloodstones will proc and you die despite playing 3 hear flushes”. However, I would argue you have better chances compared to being forced to draw a high value hand such as a straight or a flush house.

The fundamental problem of bloodstone's inconsistency is greatly reduced when considering the fact you can just play multiple fucking flushes
