is has potential to be very powerful. keep in mind you don't have to stick with it for long, you can even just take it for one or two rounds if you like. it can be useful in copying econ generators, like gold seals and gold cards, and copying blue seals is INCREDIBLY powerful, especially for gold stake runs where you're largely running easier to play hands which enable you to make better use of blue seals

of course, there's plenty of cases in which it's basically useless or even detrimental, but it's immensely powerful when the proper conditions are met, or even just useful for getting a winning run online in gold stake

the only other ways in the game to make more of the same card are through death and cryptid, and you're not likely to be able to find one of those every round, and going even an ante or more without seeing one is completely within the realm of likelihood

so DNA offering a highly consistent way to do that is super good
