castle doesnt require deckfixing to work for you though, castle is square scaling with a much higher ceiling the later you go into the run

8 hand size with 4 suits averages out to 2 card hits or 6 chips per discard, 12 for each round while adding cumulatively for every future hand you play. square restricts your maximum pseudo discard potential. castle doesn't have this restriction but rather sometimes uses pseudo discards as a use to use real discards for value. has a ceiling that you can work for where square has a more fixed amount. flint/eye/needle/arm repellent

square in a sense limits your discard power. four 4 card hands is about as much card discovery as three 5 card hands in deck which factors into probability of seeing less of a desired card in your deck such as gold or blue seal.

castle keeps your digging power in the sense that you can hit a higher ceiling in the current and later rounds. something to note when you're playing for blackboard in the midst of making more black suits for example.

It literally doesn't do anything. It literally REQUIRES synergy to do anything! and most of the time it doesn't even help. Put it with sixth sense, nothing happens. put it with Jimbo, you get +4 mult. big whoop. and it gets destroyed by madness so don't even try to have fun there!! Its just a worse version of the other do-nothing joker, brainstorm, because at least polychrome on a brainstorm is always on the right! You don't even have to aim with brainstorm, just drag the joker all the way to the left, blueprint is literally just a brainstorm that introduces user error. PLUS If you get blueprint in your first shop, you probably can't even afford it because it's always polychrome or negative or something useless like that, so think about it!!!!
finally, it's an rare which means that it takes up a valuable rare skip slot for Baron which is the best joker in the game. ||
