I've said it before but the main reason you want to avoid bloat is so that you can play around what the seed happens to throw out better. say for straights; you need either a 10 or a 5 to form a straight without shortcut or 4fingers.
that means theres 8 cards that can bottom deck and force you to not have a straight in hand.

you can reasonably see 24/52 cards in a base deck with 3 hands and 2 discards +8 handsize. that leaves your odds of bottom decking out of any straight at (~0.4% for no hanged man, then 0.29% for the second, then 0.19% for the third, then 0.12% for the fourth...)
