yeah, you almost always went flat cards on the left (unless you want to play more hands or got brainstorm).
card triggers are good, but it depends on the build. iirc the majority of gold stake builds don't really rely on it, especially since you only get two or one cards on pair / high card, which is the most reliable gold stake strat.
