The game really takes the piss when you have a blue seal card at the end and you're about to play a winning hand thinking "oh nice, I'll be able to get a planet card for the hand I keep using" and then it turns out you're on the boss that discards random cards at the end of a turn and it makes sure to take away your blue seal card.
