Both things can be true… ie finding a rebate on green deck puts you relatively further ahead of your current position than finding a rebate on anaglyph deck. But on the exact same seed you will likely be getting more money on the anaglyph deck because you can use all your hands and discards to dig for rebate cards and still get interest

currently telescope gives you a guaranteed proc to hit the planet you’ve played the most of. there are a few caveats you have to consider with playing towards telescope and with its -1 consumable slot atm.

telescope doesn’t work right away, shifting from 5 card hands from ante 1 to pairs from ante 2-3 onwards makes telescope lag behind to consider getting celestial packs right away for emergency chip source.

celestial packs aren’t something you control every shop (40% chance unless i suck at math) so you’re not guaranteed to hit telescope value every round.

planets are locked into one hand type. this isn’t an issue for mult sources but chips being locked into one poker hand type limits your freedom of scoring. pairs being relatively easy to hit is a nice strength to have but the boss blinds that punish you for having planet chip sources for scoring, severely limits the freedom of your build as far as reliability.

some other little things i don’t really pay attention but is technically a downside is the need to spend more money for pack hits. this wouldn’t be a problem if you have equal consumables but yk

-1 consumable sucks for tarot and other consumable manipulation, emergency consumable pickup for boss blinds, nerfing blue seal snowballing yk the most broken feature of retrigger builds and x mult on card scoring jokers, etc.
