the repeated xmults (or exponentials) aren't that useful for a normal ante 8 run as they typically require a lot of deckfixing, so keep using jokers like Lucky Cat, Hologram and Blackboard for those shorter runs

I was basically curious why every high ante run consists of jokers like S&B, baron, mime, etc (jokers that react to cards in hand or as they're being scored) instead of jokers that give flat mult (cavendish, campfire, etc.)

Stencil is actually super good.

With 4 empty slots it's 4 lots of 1.5X, 3 it's 3 lots of 1.58X 2 it's 2 lots of 1.7X, 1 it's a 2X.

Basically, the decision to buy a joker with stencil boils down to if it provides more value than the mult provided by a single slot

But it's basically always useful. And I sometimes just run a slot down for the 2X. If I'm nearing endgame I sell my Econ Jokers to boost it

Pareidolia retriggers face cards, which is great, but Midas Mask only gives face cards the Gold property. That effect can’t be retriggered unless you finish the round with them in your hand.
