I don’t know why I only am deciding to place it here now, but there is a seed I found months ago regarding a great black stake route for high scores. I really didn’t talk about it because the early game is too specific for me to make any good money until later on. If you were to do SWMP4C18 on plasma deck and black stake, you basically play 2 pair to win first round, take sixth sense, play high straight second round, and get perkeo from the second arcana pack you buy. (Note: to get this you need to get emperor from pack 1 to sell one of 2 cards.) Next round, play a 6 to get ankh. Sell sixth sense after. After some rerolls in ante 2, you run into invis joker. Ante 3 has an early seance, and a conveniently placed overstock for brainstorm (mime is an option also). This seance, is actually goated. Ante 3 seance gives déjà vu as the second card (Ty brainstorm/world), and ante 4 seance gives ecto and cryptid as first 2 cards. Ante 5 is just an ante to get prepared for ante 6, which has a blueprint inside after rerolling a little. Ante 7 has a stencil w/ edition and an eternal Baron as the third and fourth cards. These cards and the perfectly placed heiroglyph voucher, allow you to skip for a negative tag, granting a negative version of eternal Baron. Ante 8 isn’t too special, and ante 9 has the eternal mime. If someone could forward this to #seeds for me I’d be highly appreciative!

I'm just doing some seed mapping, I noticed that the refreshed jokers show up in the same order as they would if you didn't refresh and just went to the next shop, is this a universal constant through the run? Does the refreshed list stay the same whether naturally run or refreshed?

Not a specialist, but I believe it changes. The run I shared above was a second try, and both runs were long as hell. I had some jokers show up on one run that didn't on the other and the other way around. Some more technical confirmation would be better, but that's what I have seen for myself.

where'd the pinned comment for mathisfun's post about what and how a seed determines (almost everything except for some exploits). it's usually seed + ante determining what's there (jokers by rarity, tarot, planet, etc), think if it as a conveyor belt. if there's a collision and no showman, then it goes to an alternate list for that card type, collision there goes to another, I don't know how deep that goes before it gives up and spits out the default cards (jimbo, strength, pluto, etc). For heiro and petro vouchers, you pick up where you left off in that ante.
