||Build turned from shoot the moon in to a nice baron run. Ante 1 had shoot the moon in buffoon. Ante 2 gave overstock, reserved parking ,mime, and perkeo to fix the deck fast. Baron didn't show up until a little later, but early enough to do what we wanted.
The Soul is showing me that I missed observatory in ante 9, but I don't remember ever seeing it.

This was such a fun seed I found. Used it initially for trophies on PlayStation- the wild card flush and 20 or fewer cards.

Then replayed this for a naninf run.

Basically you get perkeo and invisible joker copies it. And Canio pops too.

I am new to it as well andIhave only used it a couple times. Some of the function I am not totally clear on but I am trying to find a seed with the most natural negatives. I then use the blueprint seed analyzer to scope out what I find. I am not sure if I am using it the most efficient way. I dont know what batch multiplier or thread groups means.

Route:
Ante 1 round 2 - take hermit from jumbo arcana pack (you will get the other 2 souls in later antes)
Ante 2 round 1 - grab overstock for rerolls later
Ante 2 round 2 - grab stuntman for scoring and buy the Venus when it comes up for bean bug later
Ante 3 round 1 - grab perkeo from mega arcana pack, buy invis, use shop temperance, then buy jumbo arcana pack for separate temperance.
Ante 4 - reroll for both brainstorm and sixth sense
Ante 5 - try to get blueprint, death for sixes, and on each round, try to get ectoplasm (may take all 3 rounds of ante 5)
Ante 6 - try to get cryptid and a singular ankh (for ante 9)
Ante 7 rounds 1/2 - try to use sixth sense more to get a wraith (I recommend 4 for ante 9)
Ante 7 round 2 (shop) - use heiroglyph to get burglar from ante 6 instead of sixth sense. Before doing this, use an ectoplasm for it to hit blueprint (if you already have holographic on blueprint from 2nd wheel, it’ll hit perkeo I believe) DISCLAIMER ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE ECTOPLASMS AND HAVE MORE THAN $500 (from copying temperance earlier)
Ante 8 round 2 (shop) - reroll for turtle bean (plus showman for a second blueprint if you have used the ectoplasm)
Ante 8 finisher - copy burglar to start the round, then sell everything but perkeo and turtle bean. Every time your bean gets disabled, reload the save to gain hand size over time. Just make sure to actually win the blind of course.
Ante 9 - copy perkeo with ankh after selling bean, reroll for mime, then use an ectoplasm and 4 wraiths. This will give Baron, Stuntman, Blueprint, and finally, Brainstorm.
Ante 11 - you can get Chicot now. Replace a perkeo that isn’t negative
From here, have fun trying to get invisible jokers for Chicot specifically.

Hi! I actually wanted to report a bug I was seeing, a very small discrepancy between what the game is producing and Blueprint seed analyzer.

I actually completely unmodded my copy of Balatro while testing, because I thought it might be a mod causing it and not Blueprint, but even after removing lovely entirely, the error persisted. (Essentially, I renamed my mods directory to mods.bak and then moved version.dll into a different folder, if this is not sufficient to remove modding, let me know what additional steps I need to take.)

To reproduce:

Seed: QVXUAE2E

Plasma Deck, White Stake

Ante 1: Charm Tag, Soul (Perkeo), Emperor (Fool + Strength), Sell Strength, Use Fool, Use Emperor (Temperence + Lovers), Sell Lovers, Use Temperence, Enter Big Blind, Win blind using Jack High Straight. Enter Shop. Mega Arcana, Emperor (Temperence + Wheel), use Wheel (Foil on Perkeo), use Temperence, Use Hermit, Buy Pluto, Roll twice, Buy and Use Hermit, Buy Telescope. Exit shop and enter boss blind. Use pair of queens to beat boss blind.

Ante 2: Buy Observatory, Open Standard Pack.

Here's where the discrepency is: Blueprint says this standard pack contains Glass Jack of Diamonds, Poly Jack of Spaces w/ Gold Seal, and a 10 of Clubs. The game actually produces a Holographic Jack of Spaces w/ Gold Seal for the middle card.

(Of note, my current patch is 1.0.1o-full, while the website claims compatibility with 1.0.1f. I don't know immediately how to downpatch to check if this is what is effecting things)

In actuality, the bug report boils down to "get to ante 2 and open the standard pack" this is just the most efficient way to do that from the standpoint of making a lot of money early on

which is what I was focused on finding.

It should be reproducible no matter how you get to ante 2.

your jokers are in a list in the order you obtained them. invis joker rolls a random number that is then matched to that list. so it always hits the second oldest joker or something, but that might be different depending on how you do things. it's a little bit manipulable, see dreamo's vid

ankh/ecto tricks don't do ante 39, you lose the next round. no way to beat the no handsize = lose thing AFAIK

the next joker setup that can do ante 39 is observatory copying, since 9 effective perkeo in 10 antes will do that. but next solo scoring method is trib/idol + repeater and takes 15 jokers to do ante 39 (plasma deck numbers, double for others)...it only gets worse from there.

I know it’s a bit late, but I got one. FEG9GDU6 is the seed. It has a buffoon and arcana pack after small blind. You get a soul (neg trib) and a sixth sense. Discard your first 15 cards on round two to find a six, which gives ankh. After you open the second arcana, you get another soul which has negative perkeo, now you can pivot to double perkeo by round 3.

M9XYMQV3 not the craziest, but a nice seed I came across however also probably the most frustrating seed I've played across because I've found photo, baron, business card, sock n buskin, DNA, invis and chad (basically all face card jokers) SO MANY TIMES times but never an ecto to house them lol. With ghost deck so I ended up with 3 polychrome photographs and built around that. Very fun!

AFAIK a truly unwinnable seed hasn't been found. what makes it tough is there's so much to consider, like a straight flush is possible about half the time (more on red/blue/vouchers and still more on abandoned). there's been efforts to exhaustively search seeds for something that dies ante 2 (1 is just not possible), but that project kinda fell off. there were some really stinky seeds listed, but not one that someone couldn't figure out how to beat
