Play normally without skipping round 1 ante 1. Note: Ante 1 round 2 open the arcana pack first to get the negative chicot, then open the spectral pack to get the ankh to help clone the chicot (doing the opposite will fail). Then there are 2 scenarios: - Scenario 1 will have 3 chicots (2 negative and 1 normal): Buy showman - Scenario 2 will have 2 chicots (1 negative and 1 normal), 1 perkeo negative: Do not buy showman Skip the small blind to receive 1 more chiot/perkeo negative depending on the choice Note that if you open all spectral packs from ante 1, at ante 2 the second spectral pack will have ectoplasm, then if you follow scenario 2, you will automatically have 2 negative chicots and 1 negative perkeo, much stronger than scenario 1. Continue playing and def to get other jokers, remember to get sixth sense early before getting showman

If you play sixth sense like this, the first spectral card will be ectoplasm, the cyrtid and déjà vu cards will also come out only at the 4,5 card range. The rest just play like any other seed chicot, find invincible joker and increase the number of cards, play high card baron mine. This is playing according to scenario 1

I tried very hard by the way to find a good perkeo observatory with negative copy jokers. Don’t get your hopes up. It’s a larger effort going on to find that too lol because when it comes down to it you have to look deeper in the shop and it ends up being a lot of PRNG rolls so it’s just slow groan 😫

My #1 advice don’t run a search with no results… put the required stuff in the Must[] clause and then the stuff you are crossing your fingers for in the Should[] clause

hi, i found a great seed with so many options like Baron+Mime, Photo+Chad, and some 2’s options HAHA

GS9S1DTT, skip the first blind, after that play normally the big blind.

After that a burnt joker will apear with a buffon pack, open the buffon pack and get “The order” to pass the boss blind easily.
In ante 2, open the Spectral Pack and use the ankh to duplicate the burnt, and if you play with the ghost deck, use hex in it before or after that.

After all that, you can play normally and use the burnt jokers to level up the hand that you want, but are so many ways to win this seed that im gonna do some lines for every way

For the Wee Joker that appears in ante 3, instead of using the ankh of the first spectral pack, use de ouija, that will convert all the cards in 2’s, i dunno the existence of a “Hack” in the seed but, if you know how to play it, you can investigate yourself

Does anyone know if there are videos or other resources for routing seeds, specifically draw order of cards? The only thing I found was a video from Balatro University from over a year ago that showcases a trick that no longer works.

I'm mainly looking for something that explains the mechanics behind the draw queue and what happens when you add to or remove cards from the deck.

deck shuffle is a random number queue per ante + seed. so if you skip the first round you get the same shuffle as the first round would have been. now as far as opening arcana/spectral packs in shop I forget how that affects it, or when the deck is shuffled. cards added go to the bottom of the deck. I guess that's an easy one to check: compare draw vs opening a spectral/arcana in shop vs not

my expectation/experience with the 52 card deck gold stake, you can draw a straight flush about half the time. but it's a tedious thing to track, and you're better off being able to just draw your deck (or at least enough of it to be certain you get your scoring hand)

Thanks for the reply! I was experimenting with destroying cards and how that affects draw order, so far my results are still inconclusive (most cards retain their order, but some are different, for some reason the 2 of hearts kept showing up in the starting hand, even though it originally was really late in the draw order).
You are right though, seeing most of the deck is always preferable to having to figure this out, since the options vary so wildly, especially the further you go into a run.

It’s a fisher Yates shuffle algorithm, which swaps indices in a list, instead of a random index it swaps a pseudo random index generated like lokey said, removing a card doesn’t change the next shuffle order, as the index is just replaced with a null value, adding a card however completely changed the shuffle order. This is a feature I considered adding at one time to blueprint but I’ve never really seen much interest in it and keeping it accurate past the first ante or two would basically involve simulating the whole game

Pretty good potential seed, free brainstorm on first skip, business card on round 4, take vouchers for retcon round 3, pretty much every arcana pack before ante 3 (haven't really scouted much past there) is worth taking. spectral packs in shops give enhanced face cards, invis joker in round 5 on second reroll, if you use the judgement from the first reroll it gives negative chaos the clown. the invis copies business, but you can just sell all the jokers to get a second brainstorm. you should have enough money to roll shop to get another setup by that point anyways.

Fun run I found must be played on alaglyph deck skip first and second blind beat boss blind you will get wee joker reroll once for ballot skip ante 2 small blind will give you blueprint start smashing those 2s to build up wee joker then ante 6 big blind reroll about 5 times to get brainstorm and builds from there
