then tried to generate a bunch of hermits early with blueprint and brainstorm in ante 4

If you maximize it you can alternate between fool and hermit in ante 4, fool in first shop pack and hermit in second shop pack

after brainstorm there's a fool shortly after, then hermit a while after that

then go really deep in the well in ante for reroll for an invisible joker

hence the need to maximize hermits

crimson bean exploit lets you get there pretty easily on plasma deck with no other scoring, guess that's best. pretty hard on other decks since you need an average of 16 planets per round to do that there

that's the problem with perkeo tricks, you usually don't skip at all. when crimson heart buff debuffs the bean joker (and a few others but that's best) go to the menu then back to game. you have +5 permanent hand-size. it's pretty much more powerful than anything you can do in the game

It has to do with unlocks

Some jokers have “hidden” unlock condition. For instance you can’t get steel joker until you have a steel card, but the soul by default has all jokers unlocked

• in ante 2, the second blind can be skipped to obtain a negative tag; this will land on a stencil in ante 3.
• in ante 4, you will want to reroll in the shop for a brainstorm
• in ante 8, you can reroll the shop for an invisible joker
• in ante 10 there is another invisible joker to reroll for
• when you pick up the invisible joker in ante 8, you can sell the brainstorm before you reroll for another invisible joker in ante 10; this will get you an extra invisible joker and the brainstorm can be regained in ante 11 (right after these shenanigans)

This seed is nuts, i got a fortune teller on the first shop and i didnt give a shit and used hex on it, i bought every tarot pack i could and i got holographic square joker and vampire in two judgements. Then there is a soul card lol i got Chicot because it was the only legendary that didnt have a gold sticker. And there was also a perishable Midas Mask in the mid game so it helped a lot pumpin the vampire. Really fun run 💕💕

All these seed analyzers really need the ability to view it from the reroll costs, when you have a long line of shop items it's much harder to work out how many rerolls you actually need for each round of an ante

also the packs things is deceptive as it implies that you have opened the other packs, you cant just ignore one

I wanted to do ghost deck and complete the stakes, because I haven't completed that on yet and stumbled upon this seed randomly where the baffoon pack in the first shop contained a blueprint, the second shop contained a spectral pack with ankh. you can combine this with business card to farm a bit of money. the third shop contained an invisible joker, and then the fifth shop after the invisible joker is sold and turned into a 3rd polychrome blueprint, just reroll the shop once and you have a photograph and the next skip contains an ectoplasm. quickly afterwards you can easily obtain a hanging chad before the 3rd ante.

I combined this with a red seal steel jack I found along the way and mime + dna'd it to get e12 before ante 6

seeded and unseeded runs are exactly the same, just that unseeded runs is a run where the seed is randomly generated by the game, while in a seeded run, you choose one of the seeds that can be randomly generated, often because it gives you a good start or includes funny glitches

normally when someone comes by a seed which has a extremely unusual start, such as a shop 1 blueprint, they share the seed or copy the seed so that they and others can replay that seed

I did the thing! First time ever getting to Ante 39.
This was an unseeded run with no mods. I skipped for the Arcana pack small blind of ante 1 and got Soul, which gave Perkeo. Used ectoplasm from a spectral pack in ante 2 to make it negative. Found brainstorm in a buffoon pack like ante 4 or 5. Got Cryptid from Sixth Sense like ante 10 or 11, and the rest is history.
Final hand had a hand size of 334 (Serpant + 145 Cryptids) which, if my rough calculation is correct, should have scored like e1884 [72 base mult x 1.5^(16x334) = 942 x 2 from balancing = 1884]
Super happy that I didn't botch this run 😅 it took like 8 hours
