SSG3X449 ante 1 investment and rare tag, which led to me having a bunch of money in the ante 2 shop from a hermit and a temperance from an emperor. in ante 2 alone there is a perkeo and a brainstorm, and a few antes later i got a canio. also a gros michel that breaks immediately here that leads to a very early cavendish, and there are so many hermits and temperances throughout this run i was filthy rich and i got an antimatter and both reroll vouchers

also i passed by multiple hacks and bloodstones and basically every good joker you could ask for theres a lot of potential

Correct, it skips the joker and puts in the next one in sequence

Same as if you are already holding the joker. This is what the Showman joker does. It disables this check for available jokers to reoccur in sequence

the number of seeds is tiny compared to the number of ways to build a deck. the all 10Spade seeds are from a bug

any perkeo seed can get you to an all jack deck pretty fast and have enough cheese to stay viable while that happens, the problem is hit the road just isn't very good, def not viable for endless

It is entirely possible that you can't even afford the hit the road w/o green or yellow deck, I've not actually played this seed, only noted it down after checking it in the soul. Don't get your hopes up

Ok so you can't afford the negative hit the road on erratic deck (which has 7 jacks) but if you save all your money and only play one hand per blind you can get the perkeo (from round 2 arcana pack) and reroll once for a non-negative hit the road

Have fun, I guess. It 100% won't be better than many of the other crazy seeds, as Lokey said, but if you enjoy hit the road you might have some fun, idk

Im using a seed where you get Perk and treb in the 1st turn. along with $ and a death. I played this a few times just winging it, and yesterday i wanted to see if do it.. I ended up going with 20 kings of X mult/with foil i had blueprint and brainstorm, with sock and the idol, i also had observatory with maybe 90 ERIS' copies.. , but alast i got to Ante 21 (i think i used -1 ante voucher).

anyway i did the math, and i guess the goal was so high, that i would of needed 22 more hands to finish it, That being said i was 1 shotting every round before that.

So today i was determined to try it but i was keeping track of the save file to save time and life.. I didnt min max it, i just was able to go back if i made a mistake.. or misclick.. I also realized, i should go poly over foil ( right???) so i was able to use my Auras to get a red seal (which i already had) but i had my deck completed quite early and i felt like i was going to get ahead of the curve. to the point where i had an extra 10-15 ERES cards..

So when it came to ANte 17, i had teh WALL for the boss, and i beat it pretty easily heres the thing.. I was on something like 3.xxxE31 and the next small blind was 6.xxxE64., Chatgpt says thats 2billion times bigger..

What the heck happened? is that normal for the wall to keep it up. ( i even went back to my save point and rerolled the boss ) but it was still the same outcome for the next round.

Is there a list of how high the antes/scores get? Am i doing somethign wrong. ( just had the voucher that gives me an extra joker. ).

I'm using the seed finder (immolate), and I've noticed that the "building program" step takes a while to run, maybe 10-ish minutes? It might seem like an obvious question because I'm extremely unfamiliar with C++, but is this normal? Or is something wrong with my code? The default filters take significantly less time, only about 2-ish minutes.

I'm having some issues with immolate (but probably due to my own code), and I can't find any explanation for it. I made a custom seed generator and it usually works, but sometimes it gives seeds that don't actually satisfy the conditions I set. For example, the filter I made is supposed to generate a soul card within 4 packs, a showman in ante 1, and is scored based on the amount of negative blueprints/brainstorms. One of the seeds it generated, AV4EQ, didn't have a soul card. I haven't had any issues like this for any of the default filters, so I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong. This also happens with most of my other seed generators too. I'm using The Soul to check the seeds, so it isn't anything to do with any bugs in balatro.

My guess after a brief look over it is that you're checking 4 ante 1 packs when you should be checking 3. The first pack is always a buffoon pack, and you call next_pack at the start to account for that, but your loop is still checking 4 packs as if the starting buffoon pack doesn't exist.

I'll give the seed you shared a shot with the debug mod to see if I can confirm my suspicions about the soul being in the 5th ante 1 pack

you can use skips to make sure that you won't hit the suit debuff bosses when AJ rolls into the debuffed suit: Skip BB for Boss if after SB your AJ shows a suit not debuffed by the boss. If it hits the same suit to be debuffed, play BB to force the reroll into another suit for the boss.

How are boss blinds chosen?

I know stuff like if you see a boss blind it won’t reappear again, but like, to what extent?

Does it end at ante 8? Is there ever a point where boss blinds are added back to the pool? How does this interact with reroll vouchers?

I can tell from experience that if you reroll enough you’ll get the same boss regardless of what you have seen before
