again, rarity isn't a power thing, but a complexity thing

Personally i think the colors would be a bit to bright like that, i will probably make it a bit brighter but not to the same extend, i want to try to sort of keep the colors of the spy in TF2 similar but also not exactly the same, so brightening it up would probably be the better idea. The changes in the suit itself though look fantastic and i will definitely add those to it! Also thanks for the feedback btw. (also did you recreate this because if so wow that is very impressive!)

Any ideal or tips on making the custom playing cards? I've been scratching this idea for a day but don't know where to start.

I think it's a good idea to grab an existing playing card sprite sheet and edit the cards on that, so that you have the exact dimensions of the playing cards and how they're laid out.
Here's a copy of the original sheet (with some added borders to show where the transparency would be when overlaid on a standard/non-enhanced card back; I made the borders black so they can be easily removed, since Balatro never actually uses pure black).

Also, if you want to make them in the Balatro art style, picking existing colors from different sprite sheets or using palettes made by others can help to mimic the style better, since the colors will let your art fit in with other art in the game.
