For example if you have a x2 mult joker, right? The joker would multiply the mult x2 before the final calculation
So

This only actually has an impact on your score in very niche situations, such as specific joker effects

Yeah, now I think I had the idea for the prophency edition to be like how the panels worked. it kinda worked like glass cards but it doesn't break due to a trigger, but more like if you click on it many times you might actually break the joker kinda like how panels are easily breakable.

and then again, my mod is a bit more unbalanced vs vanilla (not as crazy as cryptid), so maybe the 4 slots could be enough

Hypothetically it’s already done. All that’s left is adjustments and balancing. Enhanced cards get a little weird depending on how you’d want to handle it, so I haven’t figured out the best way to do that yet
I’ve done all 150 jokers, plus the 8-9 multiplayer jokers from the multiplayer mod. Most of them are a 1:1 recreation where possible, but some are modified to work in paper or just changed to not have duplicate effects due to the simplification of the chips/mult/multipliers scoring in the video game
The paper version cuts chips/mult/multipliers for a base additive “Point” system, so a lot of jokers are changed to reflect this. This also means that card and hand scoring needed to be modified, so I’m still exploring the best way to do that

The shop is managed by loosely following the logic of the video game. There are a number of slots equal to the player count, with the first couple of slots containing a guaranteed joker, and the later set of slots containing a chance at a joker, planet/tarot card, and/or celestial/arcana/spectral pack
Spectral cards in my version have been heavily reworded to not create a logistical nightmare of creating a bunch of cards out of thin air, so now all of them that create standard cards instead steal them from other players
I’m not sure if that will be fun or balanced, but otherwise I’m not sure how the spectral cards would work without a billion spare poker decks for when you turn 10 cards into a 3 of hearts lmao
