object shows are a really interesting form of media because a lot of the habits of it as a genre come from the historical context that like, 2 little kids and an unrelated teenager came up with it simultaneously

and somehow it just took off as a part of 2010s niche internet culture

that's why you see fucking crazy stories and animation quality over characters with names like "grassy" and "nonexisty"

sometimes yeah

a lot of the animation is really simple but lately there's shows that just go above and beyond in that department

recent bfdi episodes have been pushing animation quality hard with their more action-focused episodes

you can’t use ancient joker just by having a deck full of hearts and nothing else because it’ll only realistically land on hearts a quarter of the time

black holes do not suck up photons from the acretion disc for the most part because the matter is moving slower than light is and it is not getting sucked in either

only really if the light is travelling into the black hole at which point it wouldnt reach your eyes anyway

in simulations and also a few very low quality actual pictures of black holes the acretion disc is usually lighter near the event horizon up to a certain point because the matter is moving faster and so the collisions release more energy
