Well I have experience with inscryption

And the way inscryption works is that it increments the random number generator seed by 1 for each ability activated in a turn

That way if an ability is chance based, ie, a one in four chance to trigger, it doesnt always trigger on turn 3 each fight if the seed says that

Obv I dont know exactly how Balala is programmed, but you could pretty easily increment it so that each time an action is taken, the seed gets incremented by 1, so buying a jonkler or rerolling the shop or opening a pack or beating a blind has an impact on the RNG

So beating a blind would effectively alter fate

Make the new packs use a slightly different random seed resulting in them functionally being different packs each shop

Rather than just a link pointing to the same pack, essentially

I made a mistake when coding for inscryption where I forgot to increment the random number generator seed, so one of my card abilities that was supposed to be random would do basically the same thing each battle depending on the unmodified run seed

Since each Ante is very short, you don’t have a lot of opportunity to affect the RNG over a single Ante, so Seeded Runs might play the same (in the same seed).
