Nah, it’s a common technique beginners use where they use differently sized pixels within the same piece, which can end up looking jarring.
I will say yours mostly just comes from using a larger canvas on the joker base rather than traditionally “mixing” them, so it’s not immediately obvious.
But it probably wouldn’t implement how you think if it were, say, modded into the game.
