I agree that Wild Cards present an opportunity cost, but they’re already one of the worst Enhancements, maybe the worst, so I’d prefer encouraging them more.

Also, with how suit synergy is designed, every effect that cares about suits cares about Wild Cards. No scoring mechanic looks at the “true” Suit AFAIK

These are some jokers ideas i came up with ☝🏻
1- smoothie(common) : + 50 Chip + 10 melt , -10% every hand
2-tennis ball (uncommon): retrigger pair hand back and forth
3- mf jimbo (legendary): if there is only one card played retrigger all jokers ability
4-the serpent (rare) : After Play or Discard, always draw 3 cards
5-the judgement (Spectral): (the name is taken im stupid) one random joker get negative or get destroyed
6-the gold card (uncommon) : get 1 dollar for every gold card in the deck
7- the gold digger (uncommon) : after playing gold card destroy it and get 3 dollars
8- the assassin (uncommon) : after defeating a boss blind get 2 random spectral cards
