there's gonna be a BLT which will see if you have all the ingredient jokers (wont decay), then if you do, will burn them all and make a single joker with all their abilities (will decay), to make room for more jokers

i mean there is some easy rules of thumb i've developed over time that are good shortcuts.

• put an EQ on all tracks
• put a 1db bell to lower the ranges that are the loudest parts of other instruments.
• have a glue compressor on the master and adjust the EQs until it each sound range is equally loud
• put another EQ before the glue compressor with extremely narrow bells and kill all the ranges that have resonance spikes
• put a limiter after the compressor
• boost the glue comp until you're getting like the tiniest bit of distortion and boom, you're pretty much there.

yeah i aint a professional either, but i've gotten to the point where my mixes are mostly pretty good and would only need like good mastering (which i can't be asked to do).

but this is just my mixing style that i learned from my mastering engineer friend, there might be better ways to do it.

when everything is equalized, its a lot easier to control the mood by just doing small adjustments on the master. like if the mix seems a little too busy. removing like 1-2 dbs from the mids can clear up a lot. and it if sounds too harsh, removing like a little bit of the 5-10k range can mellow out a mix well.

and most of what i hear is pretty good. like sometimes there isn't a lot of mixing needed for things to sounds good. especially if there isn't a lot of tracks or if the sounds are simple bleeps and bloops

the problems start to arise when you have instruments that are more complex and have defining characteristics at all the sounds ranges, like a lot of real life instruments. then you need to start carving out space for everything to mesh well.

the card is plenty funny already, it ignores the Perishable/Eternal compatibility checks resulting in Eternal Food Jokers and Perishable Scaling Jokers, while it would make sense to have it affected by odds impacts I prefer the feel and weirdness of the card without that factor
