Your colors are a little too dark, the black being the strongest example, and you're missing the two pixel white border. That being said, it's a great start! I used the line tool on a mirror down the middle to create the glass and then just applied an extra outline around the glass (if that's whats being asked here), I typically just use my mouse for outlining things manually most the top unless I can just use aseprites Outline effect

I used darker than black in a few places. Mainly in Wanted/Ration Book (Early before I knew the convention), Bad Photocopy (I did it here because I wanted to really sell that dark, inky, smudgy, unreadable photocopy look), Recursion (Just looks cool with the high contrast) and Isotope (It was the only way I felt my rusted-metal looked good, when it was lighter it was all a bit unclear)

even though that is fundamentally unfair and unecessary as he makes up his own whenever he wants

not a criticism, I love the art style but I just wish it was more consistent
