then i would find a picture that you like (could be anything, but i recommend something simple to start) and then trace over it in a pixel art program, and try to keep the colour count as low as possible
after that i would find a different picture in a similar vein to the previous one that you like and try to recreate it by using it as reference (don't trace this one)
then after all that identify any areas you want to improve on and specifically look up tutorials for those areas
practice and repeat for a few years and you'll be goated 😁
