Yeah I am pleased. It's less about the money and more about someone else valuing it as that much. And Vagabond (and stone and steel joker since I get asked about them too) are wood boards like the others, just cut up and washed to make them look like other materials

So breakdown time: I initially asked 1500 plus shipping. We negotiated to $1300 free shipping which sounds great, BUT, it's a huge heavy thing that needs to be shipped overseas. So there goes $200 more dollars. $1100 now. Cost of the joker cards, raspberry pi, frames, misc materials came out to a little over $500. So gross profit is 600 at most. Devide that by 150 you're selling jokers at $4 a piece, which take between 15-30 minutes to make depending on complexity

Hm... framing it all was probably 10 hours of work. Letting glue dry was a lot of that time haha. I'll guesstimate at 20 minutes per joker, so 50 hours there. But done over the course of a few months (started back in February) it doesn't feel like it took that long

The digital version of the project for the posters was the worst. Super tedious and my computer is super slow and I lost 2 full days, around 10 hours, of work on computer crashing two different times. That took around 30 hours of work but it felt like a hundred lol

Yeah the model for these big projects are always advertisements for the actual revenue streams (the commissions and prints). Make these Daily Posting Instagram pages, build a community there, offer commissions of the things that are getting posted daily, sell prints of the completed project when the dailies come to an end. Works surprisingly well. Did it with this and TboI and both have been very successful. The actualy project selling was honestly a curveball, in a good way

Yeah from what I know, the enhancements always show up behind the card art

so uh

if you cover the entire cardface in art

might need to make it like.... 50% transparent maybe?

and then just compensate by making the colors darker so when they're put over top of the white cardstock, they're about right

One could also make custom Enhancements. In fact, the white part of the cards is an “Enhancement” in the sense it’s also separate from the face and rendered on the background

sigh starch lord is the most overrated card in the entire game. I can't stand it when people think starch lord is good. You guys, this is a 4 cost card that has 2 attack and 4 health. It has garbage stats. Now let's look at it's abilities. When you play a root, it gets +1/+1. Thats almost no- think about it. In order to get this up to the actual stats that it needs to be as a 4 cost card, this would have to buff like 2 roots just to break even. It would have to grow 3 roots to actually be viable. The fact that people think that it is a good idea to start drawing cards on turn 5, it really means you have no idea how to play pvz heroes. It's way too late! This is- it's- you dont make a deck that has roots in it, that's not a good strategy, there are some good roots in the game but you just have to put too many roots in it. It's drawing cards on turn 5, the last turn you're gonna be drawing cards as a plant player is going to be on turn 3. it's so overrated, it's just a big piece of trash, just look at this guy, a big ugly guy. it's based on by the way the worst Marvel superhero in the entire Marvel Fra- actually universe of Superheroes in the entire history of the planet, star-lord, who is a simp, douchebag, has no superpowers, is the lamest, dumb. and do you know what, it's appropriate cuz this is the stupidest card in the game and it's based on the stupidest Marvel superhero ever.
