randomly thought of the card effect of "straights can wrap (ex. "3 2 A K Q" is a straight)" so i threw a little thing together for it and called it a conjoined joker. it's just two crazy jokers stitched together but i did have to get a little creative with making the connection look reasonable, and even then i'm not an artist so it's pretty minimal with tweaks

is it a practical card? not very, but there's a few synergies with it, such as getting a higher lowest card mult for raised fist. (i.e. you can get rid of a two and make the lowest a five instead) also it means not having to use a discard and hope you get the jack or whatever you need at the top. probably a common card but i could see uncommon if there's some other benefit to activating the wraparound

anyways this is what happens when you hyperfixate on a game and make it one of your top 15 games in regards to most time played on steam out of 100+ (sorry if i posted too many words i just love this game)

Hey y’all! Just got Balatro yesterday after watching Skoottie, and while I suck at the game I had an idea: I propose “Joker Lotus” based on MTG’s gag card blacker lotus. It’s super powerful whole, but after activating once it’s ripped in half and the player gets to keep the pretty mid top or bottom half randomly. I’m an artist not a modder though so this is just in theory

Personally I always just increase the size of the deeper tone or add more shadow layers

the only thing i would give you is to make sure you're spriting them in a 71x95px canvas with a 1px border around them
