yeah, theyre meant to be disposable early game jokers to maybe be used to help with a difficult boss blind, im really proud of them cause like, i love balatro's jokers because they all seem to have their own personality, so i like the idea that touchy joker is really sad that it knows its disposable, and filthy joker is happy cause he clearly loves trash and filth and he doesnt mind being thrown aside.
i also made the joker's colors reflect their use and emotions, touchy joker is blue because it gives you hands, and yellow because i based its design slightly off of yorick, who is the saddest legendary joker
and filthy joker is red because it gives you discards, and green because i based it's design off of perkeo, who is the happiest legendary

I would say they're only slightly more or less complicated to draw than a custom joker, besides a few specific constraints (the shape, and the background).
The voucher's background always follows a specific pattern of a color with a bright and dark hue. the which side is lighter doesn't matter ||with the exception of a few vouchers where the background is completely different and doesn't follow this rule such as Illusion and Petroglyph||

• Base vouchers have a white top and are simplistic in design
• Upgraded vouchers have a black top with a themed strikethough underneath it, and often has the design bleeding through the original space in very creative ways

now sadly i don't think i can help with making the art since if you look up all of my posts here, i only do one-off joke-rs which i don't think fits what you're looking for

The best I get give you in terms of help would to look at a few guides and "tutorial" videos on the principles of pixel art, nothing too fancy, but enough so that you can get an idea of what to do. I'd suggest the Youtuber "Brandon James Greer", as he does a good amount of educationnal pixel art videos where he explains in a clear way some of the most important aspects of pixel art. I'd also suggest watching a few of his more traditional pixel art videos as he clearly shows the creative process that goes through making pixel art images

Other than that, I'd suggest just going for it. Train yourself on some smaller projects and ideas try to get a feel for it, and when you feel like you're ready, try and be as meticulous and organised as possible. I'm sure you'll be able to get some help on this matter and make something really cool looking. Keep us posted on it btw !

I made the original abilities as a joke and sort of a play on the idea of Anubis's Scale, but I like this design so much I want to make a real ability for it.

The original ability, if you were curious, was this:

"Lose x1.001 Mult for every NSFW game in Steam library"
It's pretty funny, but I think this Joker deserves something cooler. What are your thoughts?

Heat seems quite weak since if you're winning in 1 hand you don't need the xmult, Dark Carnival is straight anti-synergy despite relying on you playing straights, i have no idea what Sucker even does, Pairing Grid seems fine balance wise though it's description seems a little unclear, and Sweet Buffoon is either extremely weak of extremely op and have no idea which it is because the description is very unclear

from my experience, Heat seems like it would get outscaled at like ante 4 unless it had like +2x mult or smth and that would just be broken
