I'm pretty much planning ahead if we get workshop support.

It's just +1 chip, strength upgrades it to 2 of suit

The idea I had was the following:

If Workshops exist, you start with 52 cards and then can add/remove sets of cards until to desire, but any scores you get in those games do not count towards any high score.

A "Blueprint deck" letting you choose your deck contents (with some presets in base game), and then what extras you want to see from spectrals, arcana, jokers, planets, etc. And then finally what hand types you want to see (including customs)

So interesting thing I noticed. I noticed DNDG only plays the black & white joker, so I have no clue what the colored Joker does

But the B&W Joker in the game chooses a card from your discard pile and copy the value and suit, so perhaps in this Balatro version, at the end of the round, you get a nerfed Cryptid effect or something.

If there WAS any DNDG reference card at all, I'd probably say this would work best, since it's a joker for starters, and it's only one card vs the whole set (as a fan project)

For those who may not know: A Proxy is just when you use a card to stand in for something else. Usually people print them at home, and their printers don't have the right ink, so it comes out with the wrong colors. (I picked about the right ones from memory basically)

With Printer Joker, I made it look like those gaff cards where they have more than one card but are actually one.

Except I made it sideways for mine.

It also kinda looks like someone's printing the jokers and landing on the stack

this one is actually quite good, it has a life system like buckshot but it ALSO has a bluffing and betting system

each player has their own "revolver" of 7 cards, one of which is a bang and the rest blanks

its really fun!

Thanks. It started out when I was doing my remakes of Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers card art to Balatro style and ran across their joker which copies a card in your discard if I remember correctly, so at first I translated it as a Balatro joker effect, and then slowly but surely became the Proxy Joker. One of the ideas I liked too much to scrap and it became the Printer Joker.
