I think AI is one of those things that they are trying to make happen by making people believe it has already happened.

LLMs are just super complex auto-correct, and more standard algorithms and functions already do what LLMs supposedly do but better.

It scares me because to me it seems like they are trying to cut out people from the equation so they don’t have to give said people proper employment rights.

What they don’t understand is that it is unlikely to succeed due to their own hubris and lack of understanding. If it does work, then you have AI that are capable of sentience, which is a lot scarier than paying people above minimum wage.
