I have a genuine question for anyone who's watched Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Why do think this show is good? I'm not trying to be judgmental, it's just that I've watched the pilot and part of the second episode, and there's 4 montages and 2 time jumps that go over multiple decades, and they get away with making their 2 main characters completely monotone, so I'm just wondering why anyone thinks the writing is anything other than... lazy, I guess is the right word. Does it get better and I'm just in the bad part of the show right now?
