Alright major update to my Balatro inspired board game

Now instead of 3 dice, you’ll have 5

You can choose up to how many dice to reroll for a desirable dice combo before playing it as your scoring combo

Each reroll cost “deny” token (red)

I’ve placed a bod of 250 Chips on crab (5)

Now I’ll roll

I got one on crab, which mean that if I play this combo, my bid on crab will get doubled

But I’m going to reroll it and spend a deny token

Rerolled the dice that didn’t land on crab

Now I have 2 crabs in this combo

Which means tripled my bid on crab

I’m going to play this combo

I’m now at 750 Chips

*note, I can only change my bid after playing my dice combo

Implementing the Yacht-see rule of rerolling a select number of dice for a better combo helped so much

And the cards in this is mainly focus in making it easier for you to get good dice combos that also has a bid on it

Playing out a blind:

• Hand money
• Blind money (big blind only on red stake+)
• Jokers that activate after a blind
• Jokers that scale with hands played
• Jokers that activate with hands played (that don't just provide flat score)
• Jokers that trigger on blind select or round start
• Blue Seals
• Purple Seals
• Gold Seals
• Gold Cards
• Lucky Cards

Not to mention that the shop is your main form of progression and growing stronger, as that is where you can buy and find good jokers, buy planets and tarots, and where you find game changing vouchers (not to mention that plenty of vouchers synergize with the shop or playing out blinds).

Throwback alone isn't usually enough to win a run without already having a concrete run (which you can only really get without skipping). That being said, you can also get away with whatever you want on the lower stakes since the blind scaling is not bad at all.

Hi me again the guy who wants to make a Balatro tabletop game for me and my buddies

I need to ask your opinion on something

So basically I thought I could use a single playing deck for all players, but there's only two discards and one hand (bonus money comes from discards, I also need to rework money). I would then have a couple of decks on standby for card packs, and the cards chosen from the packs would be a kind of one-use thing.

Or I could make every player have their own deck, so they can add/remove extra cards from their own

Which one would be the better option?

I kind of dig the idea of the players each trying to manipulate one deck. Like if you're all trying to thin or add to the deck to get different hands sound like an interesting aspect of play
