my luck is so good that sometimes, stupid things happen that shouldn't. now, first of all, each mine has about 200-300 ores, and i have a buff to make all rare ores 2x more common, so unobtanium (the rarest ore) goes from 1/1m to 1/500k. but i was in the special mines with a 50/50 to give a variant of the ore, and hourglass is the variant of unobtanium, so it has a 1/1m chance. the mine is able to be refreshed every 1-2 minutes aswell. i got 6 of them in 30 minutes, even though it should take about 3 hours for even 1. BUT THATS NOT ALL. you see, there is a enchant in the game called fortune. the formula for a ore to duplicate with this enchantment is level/9, so with my fortune 4 i would have a 4/9 for the hourglass to dupe. 4 of the hourglass i mined myself, 2 of them i let my friend get. my friend has fortune 6. so every single hourglass may or may not have proced. yeah. the odds are so hard to calculate im not even gonna try. all i know is with the amount of players who have played this game (not many) this should've never happened ever.
