I like post punk, jangle pop, shoegaze/dreampop, jazz, atl rock, krautrock. Kinda like japanese pop efforts too, lots of good stuff

It feels strange because I've been listening for like 15 years, heard thousand of albums and now I don't feel anything listening to things I like

depression is tough

by the way talking about this game and the great people here really helps me. Game isn't released yet so this place feels like a safe space for me. Seeing localtunk always eager to try new things (like experimenting with flush 5) just makes me happy, game dev is a fascinating experience.

you get that kind of convoluted videos where he doesn't really call him "lifecoach" but "Adrian" to make it more generic. But we all know it's a direct jab to lifecoach. This is an interesting read but the whole thing reads as "you're wrong and full of yourself"
If balatro is lucky enough to get a competititve community, this is gonna happen too. It's fine and there are always solutions.

A loyalty program where you have to do one task every single week to prove your loyalty to a company.

Here's mine. The reason it's not a 689 streak is I'm not logged in (NYT doesn't need my email) so any time I travel I lose my streak. I've done all the words from the archive so I'm at 100% for the whole entire wordle-until-now. (One of my "got it in 1"s was my actual word, and another was one day the site reset and I was like "didn't I do it already?" and I typed what I thought it was and it started me with a 1-game streak and I was like "you stupid buggy piece of crap"...)

bonus: Dordle I have a 115 streak (and lost my old stats but I was at 96% before the streak), Quordle streak is 135 (97% of 649 games), and Sedecordle I'm at 100%.

I had different starting words for a while, but eventually I settled on using the two-word set ||ROAST, GUILE|| which gives me ||all 5 vowels and several common and semi-common consonants||. Then I built out a text file from playing wordle-adjacent games (from sedecordle to word master) where I write out the possible letter combos (like AerT would mean I got a green A and yellow e and r and green T) and then either the few words that fit that, or a more complex decision tree for certain combos that have lots of possibilities. Lots of sitting there going "wtf word could that possibly be?" with the variant games. As an added bonus, especially on multi-word games like quordle, my third word is ||CHYND|| and I'll use it if I don't have any obvious paths forward on any of the words thus far. It's a good word for finding and also for eliminating remaining combos.

Imagine a roulette wheel as a potential list of scoring hands. Betting methodology for scoring hands can be increased for higher payout (odds, reds, corner, basket) but also individual numbers are leveled up using a rotational leveling up system that allows the player to choose which section of the board to upgrade based on a randomly generated pre-existing selection

These shapes can be rotated to upgrade chunks of numbers, like this:

Unfortunately I ditched most of the type system because we need generic functions(You don't exactly want 3 blocks for int+int, float+float and uint+uint), and dynamically varying the return type of a generic function based on the inputs and popping it off if violated among other stuff was just too complex to implement

need some references for machineries and their practices at the time for manga material, I'm not native so it's very hard to look for them
