Golden Joker is obviously an econ joker because it directly gives money right?
Next up is Chaos the Clown: by saving $5 on the first reroll, you're basically getting $5 each shop; an econ joker.
Similarly, there's Egg: by increasing its own sell value, it gains sell value over time and thus gives you money at the end, and more valuable temperances short term: an econ joker.
There are also jokers like Midas Mask: it gives you gold cards, giving you money, so an econ joker.
There are card-generating Jokers like Riff-Raff or Cartomancer: selling these cards or using them can give more money - econ jokers.
How about Burglar: by giving you more hands, you cash out with more hands remaining, which is more money; an econ joker.
And finally, scoring jokers like e.g. Blackboard help with scoring meaning you don't need to use as many hands to win, meaning you get more money at cash out -> scoring jokers are econ jokers.

It might be my ultimate form of crack this game. I'm a roguelike fan with a Math and CS degree, my Ted Bundy championship touchdown is a two-peat on a regional hold-em tournament. Balatro rings all my bells and it is love. These are the halcyon days of youth. I pinned my first chip to a deck yesterday, Trying to get into paired and better instead of straights, but the variance is killing me

I tried starting with Magic deck and aiming for lots of early hung men and other things, but I'm just pooping out fast and starving badly early without the money from Yellow deck. Any timely advice from anyone will of course be deeply appreciated. 🙇‍♂️

$400 is easy just play a build revolving around retriggers and Golden Ticket

7 of clubs is annoying but doable with deaths, its just annoying due to low synergy

<12 rounds i would recommend anaglyph due to the constant double tags if you like gambling, or if you just want a consistent deck to do it on do zodiac or yellow
spend the first ante like normal then just double skip everytime until you hit like a "milestone"
<12 rounds would mean you get to play a max of 4 blinds that arent bosses, so spend at least one if not both on the opening blinds (unless you get a really good tag)

no flush is just yeah
go for straights instead :)

4 joker one just play on painted deck, it already has a -1 slot, so you get the +2 hand size for free

i dont really remember how i beat the <12 rounds one but yeah
