he is almost free to take

and is worth your while in the early to mid game

you are playing on gold stake let's say red deck

and you hypothetically win in one hand

you have 7 bucks in total

if you go to big blind, unless you get a poker, or straight flush you can't win in one hand so you lose hand money

you'd get interest rate if you win without spending aforementioned 7 bucks, but you'd lose lots of hand money

jimbo costs 2 bucks so like he brings you down to 5 which means you can farm interest

and you are guaranteed to win the big blind so long as you get a decent flush 3oak, straight, or fullhouse

with any other joker you'd be broke basically and you couldn't farm cash

abd you basically get 1$ back from selling jimbo if you ever get bored of him

If you get something like an ancient joker relatively early, you're goal would be to try and make a bunch of wild cards, maybe with other stuff like red seal or further enhancements like foil, holographic or polychrome. after that from opening standard packs or creating some by yourself, you might want to play face cards versions and try and get something like a sock and buskin to help retrigger them.

To play those cards better, you should also use tarot cards like lovers (for wildcards), hanged man (delete cards that you don't play), death (to make more copies of your card)
