with my setup, assuming a deck of red seal steel kings, the optimal scoring arrangement is to copy baron three times and mime two times, resulting in 1.5x being triggered 4 times for each trigger and getting 4 triggers per card, meaning each king will give x1.5^16 mult. If i remove the mime and only copy the baron, each king now only gives 7 x1.5 mult triggers and 2 triggers per card, meaning 1.5^14 mult. If i don't have a mime to copy, the ratio between triggers per king and x1.5 mult per trigger is skewed and results in unoptimal scoring

Play flushes on the first ante. They are easy to make and give tons of chips and mults. If you dont get a good joker early try to level up flushes a bit so you survive the first ante without spending much.

Also when you have excess money over interest cap you should re roll to see if you get anything good. I got toms of run saving cards this way.

My strategy for purple+ is:

Try and beat the first blind in one hand. This maximizes $$$

Do not buy anything in Ante 1 except if it's a strong/scaling joker, an important voucher, or you're playing something like Nebula deck so you can get a planet card. Those early can be SUPER STRONG. It's entirely possible to beat the Ante 1 boss without jokers in most cases, although specifically for Black deck I may say to break this rule to grab some mult because that -1 hand is lethal

Don't skip ever unless it's econ tag in ante 1 or you're playing Anagylph

Others may have better advice but that's been working enough to get me far in most runs. Just gotta make sure you keep econ rolling so you can make yourself stronger if you begin to fall behind in score. Oh yeah definitely keep track of how much you're scoring so you can plan for future antes
