If you're comparing read and write speeds (as long as the SSD has a cache), the SSD will outperform pretty much every HDD on the market, if you're looking at M.2 speeds then they're typically 25x faster than HDDs

I highly disagree. If you're transferring more than a 20mb file or installing more than just a document viewer you'll be hit hard by the SSD having to stop and start
It makes a huge difference for games, and a huge difference for long term storage as if you ever need to retrieve your files it's gonna take you like 10x longer to take them off the drive / access them

the larger the transfer, the quicker you burn through the SLC cache, and the more visible any background tasks or mapping lookups become. So it’s not just the game but how much data you’re actually transferred at over the drive. DRAMless drives are affected by system interrupts and such way more
that's why you should use crystaldiskmark to get a comprehensive look at how it's actually affected over time, and with longer and longer writes
if you're looking at random write speeds, DRAMless does significantly worse (2-3x slower), which is essentially what happens when you're running multiple things at the same time

yes 1/4 equals 1/4 but there are very different contexts at play between this and, say, space joker
8 ball has a 1/4 chance to give you a tarot card. most of them are very situational so the odds of you getting something good are a lot slimmer, especially if you're forcing 8s
space joker has a 1/4 chance to level up the played hand, which is most often your best hand anyway, so it's a lot more likely to provide good value

a problem I have with assessments of 8ball, his included, is that it doesn't take into account that there's a consumable slot cap
on paper it's 1 every 4 on average, but in reality it's less because if you get more than 2 procs, or 3 with crystal ball, you're not getting the extra tarot

depends on the deck, but generally:
- Don't skip, outside of a few specific scenarios. Ante 1 small blind Investment is worth skipping, but beyond that it's only if it saves you (like Boss Reroll against a bad boss, or Negative Tag against Verdant Leaf, etc)
- Buy the buffoon pack that's in the first shop pretty much always, unless there's something better in the shop
- Focus on survival early, you want to build interest early but you also need to not die. Take things that help you survive if you otherwise wouldn't, and then just try and reach $25 as fast as possible, and stay above it (that's the interest cap)
- Take jokers that help you survive, even if they suck. Example: Eternal Misprint in the first shop, doesn't matter that it's eternal as it's good early and helps you live.
