Not the worst pickup, but it's definitely not free. You've basically permanently cut your discards by one if you always intend to use one to recuperate your costs. I'm sure it'll be frustrating on some boss bonds. But it's definitely not a bad pickup either. Trading Card is one of the most reliable strategies to deck thinking and even after two rounds, I usually feel its positive presence in my draw chances.
