I don't understand what this is supposed to be a litmus test for but:
DNA is pretty good, great at deck fixing. If you have strong cards to duplicate it can create a really powerful deck. Throwback used to be one of my favorites but now I hardly skip at all, higher stakes make it harder. Idol is cool but I hardly ever get a chance to use it cause I'm never deckfixed enough. Showman has some great potential but it's too clunky to give up the joker slot a lot of the time. Bloodstone is good but the RNG makes it weird. Certificate is pretty cool but it clutters your deck.

for scaling jokers, a common late stake strategy I've been using to farm a bunch of wins is to get a scaling +mult joker like ride the bus, constellation, or green joker - these can scale +4 mult each round which is crazy. from there, playing pairs, levelling it up, finding scaling chips (squoker is good for this). eventually you'll probably want some xmult but even duo does enough to beat ante 8 most decks

You want economy as soon as possible, even if it amounts to "Not immediately dying next round and cashing out some money from 2 hands", black deck is a matter of a good start because you always play 1/4th of your hand power (discarding/playing) down and 1 less dollar per blind

Getting interest early after getting a joker that can comfortably solo the entire first few antes (Not that hard all things considered) will make it so you can start to prepare for the upscale with way more jokers or temporary help, you want more reliable hand spam (Even if black deck is the worst for pairs by a mile) because with higher hands, even if you score way more, you limit yourself to jokers to that hand type that don't necessarily scale

While pairs or 3oak or even high card let you easily upgrade flat mult jokers like grimbo or ride the bus or more

Getting out of the first antes is the issue, with his it cripples your spending power, after you actually make use of that 6th slot with something good you start to cruise through the game

Also yeah if you see a grabber take it but that's every deck

assuming ante 1 perk, BS, BS, and cryptid
that would only be 360 cryptids (with both of the -1 ante vouchers)
putting the logistics of getting there aside, you'd need an ante 38 serpent
assuming you have all the discard and hand vouchers, you'd have 5 hands and 4 discards (after the -1 ante vouchers)
say you have 7 mimes (one ecto + antimatter)
you have a base handsize of 7 that you can get to 23 cards with discards and hands on serpent
let's add those 360 cryptids to get it up to 742 golden 9s in hand
assuming you can beat the boss with a high card (let's say its a lucky 9 with a gold seal that triggers, just for funsies)
now lets say that your total deck size is the 720 from cryptids + 52 from fixing all of your base deck into gold 9s you'll have 772 nines in your deck
lets say you have 100$ already to hit interest with both of the interest vouchers
+20 from vouchers
+23 from lucky gold seal high card
+2226 from each trigger of the gold cards, so a total of 20034 after the 7 mime triggers and an extra from the red seal (total of 8 extra triggers)

thats 20077 dollars in a round
