The flames appear whenever the total score from the chips and mult beats the blind, and yeah holding a royal flush first blind will "beat the blind" by just displaying royal flush's base score. If u beat the blind by a lot (holding lvl 1000 hand round 1) the flames also become huge with sped up animation

Essentially just try to have as many burglars as possible by ante 8

And ante 8 you need go find the bean, as well as making sure ante 8 boss is crimson heart

I also suggest you to have been leveling your high card to like 20+ throughout the run and having a couple steel to make it through without any scoring jokers

Need to be careful to make sure you get the most value from every hand

And you can end up doing stuff like this

Oh yeah i also suggest keeping a 10+j+q+k+a of one suit so you can play straight flushes to force seance to give you ectoplasms

Lets you have a lot of brainstorms/blueprints when you find invisible joker/showman

Black deck is pretty hard to get set up early game due to 1 less hand

Cuz 1 less money from that 1 hand, can't make immediate use of that extra joker slot, score requirements are pretty rough

And you may not even find good enough jokers early when they are all rental/perishable/eternal

Honestly i found green deck way more of a pain though

Black deck is tough early game but stabler endgame since you can supply another x mult joker, whereas green deck is...mediocre at best early game and really bad late game if you are needing all your hands to survive which means no money, and therefore a downward spiral

Also yeah 1 less hand means less ability to dig in your deck for a certain card you want whether its a specific card you need for a straight/full house, or for seals
