So a couple weeks ago was GDC (game developers conference). I had the chance to see some fellow game developers in person I knew from online. Happened to be the same night as the GDCA award show

Anyway I was standing in line to attend the show (incognito) and ditched to go get dinner with my dev friends instead. We got Mexican food.

We later went to a hotel and played cards for a couple hours with the Balatro decks I had, and it was likely the first game played with any of the Balatro decks. While we were playing a bunch of my family texted me that apparently Balatro won GOtY at GDCA

So I feel like it was the perfect way to celebrate

so say you have like a steel card right

it gives 1.5x mult if it's in your hand

but if you have mime (or red seal) it gives you another x1.5

same goes for other held in hand effects like gold card (will retrigger and give you $6 total)

this joker is commonly used in conjunction with baron, so that you get about 3x or so (depending on if the king is steel and/or red seal) with mime, because it retriggers every effect on the card
