Don't skip - skipping means you lose out on shop + scaling for any jokers you have that need hands or blinds played
Try to stay above 25 dollars - for every 5 bucks you have, you get an extra dollar for finishing a blind. (Obviously doesn't apply if you're struggling to beat blinds and need extra jokers)

Take econ jokers - Early on you don't need that much help so getting an econ joker is a huge boon (even just golden joker)

And try to play strong hands - You get an extra dollar per hand left after a blind so ideally you beat the blind in 1 hand
