I like the variation you get from complexity. An Isaac run can be ridiculously overpowered if you make one choice and a total slog if you make a different one. Balatro is much the same. Maybe less out of control runs, I lose so many runs that feel unlosable. Hand after hand of shit draws and the wrong call on what to discard and bam you're looking at end screen

Because as much as I try to play every store out, I see better results with a skip or few mixed. Throwback already had xmult from an investment tag and I had a popcorn at the time so I leaned into the skip playstyle.
