I checked with the CLI team, and unfortunately there isn’t a way to disable this behavior at the moment. I’ve opened a feature request regarding this.
I’m not wanting to disable the behaviour. It should not be an option to disable. It shouldn’t be a behaviour at all, should just update without reloading the page.
Trying to see on my end if there is a way to change this behaviour as it is no smooth environment when in dev mode at the moment
totally agree, there is a lot of bugs in the new CLI, I don't understand why they hurry up to release it. I stopped upgrading the wix cli versions until I will get the trust back
@woven pond it’s not a feature request at all as the feature is already there. It’s technically a bug in our eyes that needs fixing.
Again, focus on what we have now and make sure it’s ’up to scratch’ before moving onto new features.
@high oyster the new CLI is brilliant but there is little things like this that let’s it down
I also love the new architecture, but there is a lot of core issues that make it not reasonable to use it.
it feels like no one there try to test it like a real world usage
@dense swan any chance you could shed some light over this dev mode issue?
The problem is bugs gets treated as feature request and only get worked on if enough people faces it.
So if you face a bug that other people are not reporting. Good luck!

Yep, totally agree! Seems at the moment the app dev rel team like to say it’s been submitted as a feature request and then don’t here back on the subject.
No bug or unusual behaviour should be treated as a feature request and some responsibility and honestly is needed!
why I can address my issues to my clients so fast and Wix team take over a month to help us. I found my self loose money several times because bug in wix ecosystem and after all I need to pay them 20% of my earnings.
the app developing not just help us earn money, it also help Wix to be rich platform and give solutions to there site builders

We understand the frustration. We aim to improve CLI in every iteration. This kind of feedback is indeed more product experience that needs to be improved rather than considered as a feature request. Anyway, the team is aware, and there is a task to tackle this unpleasant experience.

Looking forward to seeing an update very soon. Understand that it’s not something that is major but instead something that causes a lot of inconvenience and creates ‘bumpy ride’ 🙂
