If structured to best result in improved in-game performance, the task would encourage you to flick, adjust and then stop on-target prior to clicking. Instead, getting higher scores is more about tracing over the points and utilizing click-timing without stopping completely on any given point.

Hey, I’m in 19th place rn on console, and I’m curious how the fov rule works. All my runs are on 80-90 fov, but almost 90% of the score above me are on 60-75 fov. Are their score penalized or something for using a lower fov?

you should walk and swing wide so you can kill all 7
the timer only triggers if you step outside, and you only need to step outside to get line of sight of the last two targets
sprint to swap sides to see the first targets asap, but walk after if you cant kill fast enough
the targets have a time-to-kill bonus, which expires, but if you kill a bot before it expires it will refresh the timer for all bots

I’ll try that when I get back on, I’ve been mostly focused on the tracking one and that’s been killing my arm

nah just full sprint with W only, try to limit your A/D movement so it doesn't mess with ur crosshair placement, kill the first targets you see while sprinting and then the targets where you have to turn to see them you just completely stop running, stand still and eliminate all of them then u sprint to the other side and repeat. that simple, be quick, be consistent, be better.

I was curious if anyone had any ideas to help but I feel like my aiming style is so much more inconsistent and slow when I’m flicking, when I’m tracking my wrist is slightly elevated and my aiming is much smoother but less precise but when I flick it’s just so choppy and slow to gain that precision, is that something I just have to work on or is my contact points or mouse grip wrong

flicking has been a pain in the butt for me, i've been playing for years and i had terrible inconsistent flicking forever

sixshot is the goat if u wanna get better at flicking

you go as fast as you can (you have to go at a speed where you have 90-95% accuracy) and when you flick you ABSOLUTELY make sure you don't go over the target and overflick, you stop before it BUT you don't stop, you just slow down ur aim after the flick and micro adjust the remaining space there is. NEVER overflick ur targets

fast flick > slow down at the last second so that you don't overflick and it is controlled

as you get more comfortable you start doing this faster and faster and slowing down when ur closer to the target and at some point it just looks like an instant flick cuz you will know exactly when to stop and you will be consistent with it

yep its way easier to microcorrect if you underflick, its just easier if you know the target is going to be on one side of the crosshair after the flick

yeah and overflicking and correct from an overflick takes way more time, your crosshair travels more distance than if you just underflicked and corrected, and its just a bad habit honestly
