Well ye. But if you are better with momentum but someone else is more consistent. You might have a longer max loss streak but you have a higher peak winstreak. Does that make you better than someone who has the same average rank past 100 games but doesn't lose or winstreak as much. I've never, never, lost more than 6 games in a row in val and it's only happen twice that I've lost 6 in a row. I've only lost 5 in a row like 4 times. 4 in a row about 4 or 5 as well. But I don't winstreak either. I just win lose win lose win win lose win lose lose win win lose win lose. So on. Sometimes 3 in each direction.

learn the ttk for the targets and also learn to prioritize targets that you know you can kill, dont go for awkward angles or awkward targets

also start running if youre not and try to find a start that gets you a good amount of targets on the ground but this task is gambling you gotta get lucky

I was constantly trying to move in a way that helps my crosshair track the fin but instead i just gave up on that and I'm moving for the next targets around me, trying to get away from the one im aiming at so that i can see more targets around me and i can constantly switch without too many pauses

what changed for me is that i was having way too many pauses between targets so in my new runs i'm further away from the targets so i see more targets around me

ill also just leave this here, i feel like (maybe this is common knowledge) that this game has like "seeds", and resetting does not really reset the "seed" i noticed if i play a task like 5-10 times and i reset the patterns are usually pretty much the same but if i exit to menu and start again its different, its really apparent on fin switch, i got around 135k on fin switch and kept averaging 130k on my resets but i finally exited the task came back later and got like 140k and the spawns were noticeably better

this is helpful for like i said getting good fin switch spawns, and on omni-track with the strafe target's movement pattern, but it could also just be completely in my head

Start with smooth tracking on any drill where the target travels in a set easy path with a target you feel fits "medium" sized target. Start slow then step it up as you improve.
