Fans are like $10-15 apiece. If youre dropping stacks on a build making sure its cooled properly should be a small price to pay. Heat = wear and tear on electronics. Just makes sure you get your money's worth out of it. Ive never had a gpu die for example.

If youre running it at the limit its going to die fast lol. Im talking about things like mounting the gpu in the bottom pci slot so its being heated by the psu. Or poor wire management blocking air flow, or just a lack of case cooling. Ram and mobo chipsets are passive cooling as well so they depend of case fans.

If you go over the limit it melts the solders and dies. Im just talking wear and tear.

Okay let me break it up for you, I do not own an usable pc at the moment (I use a laptop for my studies). I have a friend who owns a gaming PC and this is what he said about 'dust'.
Dust can get in your GPU, and no you can't clean that dust.
Dust can get into the tiny parts of your ports and motherboard, which obviously cannot be cleaned properly (100s of ports etc etc)
Dust can get into your cooling fans, and YES you CAN clean the fans, but unless they can be disassembled, you can't clean the fans, and if you have a custom waterloop that's another thing.

Just to make it clear, I am not hating or anything on you. As I said I'm currently PC-less, so I am just making sure that someone's PC does not suffer. Do upload your PC setup, I am sure it would bring happiness to me by seeing it.

To sate your curiosity; system was built in I think 2021. rtx 3080, intel i9-10850k with 360mm AIO, 64gb memory, 8tb storage, and a crappy rosewill case, 3 120mm rad fans, 3 240mm case fans

upgrading eventually to amd cpu and graphics, ddr5 memory, and probably a gen5 PCIE m.2, and open testbench mounted to the wall behind my desk at some point

CPU was fine, the 3080 was cooking the glass and lower end of the case and causing circular airflow in the lower half and not venting properly
