Controllers harder than mouse from my subjective experience

The top of mouse may be harder than top of controller idk I’ve never really been a top mouse player I’m like top 5 mouse on console but that’s not much of a judge when there’s only like 10k mouse scores in most tasks

I’d assume I wouldn’t even be top 1k on pc

But a lot of the modes on controller have 50k+ players and a few of the academy ones have 300k+

So u can see this two ways: First, pc mouse and kb is objectively the best peripheral to aim u will never win with a controller. The leaderboard on pc is the main leaderboard, controller is realistically a sub category due to the fact that playing with a controller will always be an handicap for everything else than movement games ( like rocket league and trackmania). Secondly, there might be more controller players but they are not, and this might be a generalization, in average as invested as a pc player and they are for the most part kids, if u really want to judge it as a difficulty comparison looking at the top 50 difference might be a good estimate, if the top 1 is too far away from the top 50 it would generally mean that it's not very stacked, I can't look at the leaderboard on console but the simple fact that only the top 25 wins something on console already gives a hint of what's harder.

There isnt to many reasons to exactly aim grind on aimlabs on a controller since aa is such a large factor in aiming in most games out right now whereas mnk is all the person so they need the practice if they want to improve and im not saying controller is better then mnk in any way however some controller players do actually use aimlabs to improve and see how far a score can get pushed to and see how close it can be to mnk and some of the scores are very impressive like i said considering its raw thumb movements. The top mnk and top controller are very i.pressive each and neither should get downplayed since each come with there differences

There is alot more good mnks compared to controllers in aimlabs since alot of top players on controller in certain competitive games dont practice aiming without aa and they stick to the normal feel of the aa in the game they take competitively and train that way, but the majority of players on console aimlabs are gonna be good at most shooters they play since they aim train without aa so just because there is more mnks doesnt mean that controller isnt valid

Yes but certain games are much more reliant on a certain input like how valorant is all mnk or apex is mostly controller

Lots of the controller players on pc were console at one point and wanted to take it more competitively since consoles are more restricted with fps input delay and being locked to vsing other controller players (depending on if the game has cross platform)

This is such a pc master race perspective lol. MnK is much easier to be good with. Controller players can hang in most games. Only game they dont is Counter Strike. Competitive CoD for example is controller because of the aim assist and mostly CQB gameplay. Marvel Rivals there isnt a big difference either. In general it comes down to the players ability to track a target. If you have talent the interface is mostly irrelevant.

MnK is more accurate but with how many games add aim assist these days, its not as big of a difference. Especially with how many games are cross play now.

Console isn't meant to be casual, it's just as competitive as PC. Certain games need to be played on console to even compete. Same goes for certain PC games.

I did a quick google search, there's roughly 900,000,000 PC players and 650,000,000 console players. One isn't better than the other it's just preference. It mostly comes down to what your friends play.

I'm having trouble with a specific feature in my Logitech Options+ software on Windows 11.

Device: Logitech MX Master 3 mouse (or specify your exact model if different)
OS: Windows 11
Software: Logitech Options+

Problem:
My mouse works perfectly fine for all standard functions. However, the "AI Prompt Builder" feature within Logitech Options+ does not work at all. When I try to use it (after assigning it to a button), nothing happens, or it simply doesn't function as expected.

What I've tried:

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Logitech Options+ software multiple times.
I suspect the issue might be related to system permissions in Windows 11 that the software needs to access text or interact with other applications.

doesn't really matter, raw reaction time is generally a biological limiting factor. anything <150ms is considered predictionary. if it's an aimlabs task you're getting that from, I'm not sure how it gets calculated. either way to answer the question it's neither good nor bad

So reaction times in reactionary sports are FAST, would need to dig more into computer based reaction times since you would also need to offset the results by the end-to-end latency of the system you're testing on rather than working with an attached system like they used in that study to measure initial movement

napkinmath though for the fun of it; if HBM has you at 140ms average, and you're using my hardware (360hz monitor, razer viper v3 pro), lets assume 2-3ms for the computer to process the stimulus, 3ms for the pixels to switch, assuming 8k polling (125 micro sec) we can call that negligible and ignore it, 1ms for click response as reported by rtings, and .5mm displacement before click would add another 10-20ms, that could put raw reaction time at 113ms to 124ms. That's still a significant difference

Ow2 on lowest settings and 50% res runs anywhere between 360 and 500+, combat master (a random mobile game that got ported to pc and has an... Interesting community) runs at 400+ on ultra settings, and aimlabs runs at 600, 1000 if I turn the frame queue to 3 (but I don't want latency so I just run 1 frame queue)

But I have an upgrade path planned for my pc: 9070xt (once prices drop) and a 5800x3d (or even an upgrade to am5 directly, that would be lit)

I have the MSI 360hz 1440p. their panel protect systems cant' be disabled. there's pixel shift which switches the pixel by 1 every 15 minutes or so, and they also have a "screenprotect" process which shuts it off. gives warnings at 1 hour, 30 minutes, 10 minutes, and 1 minute that it's going to shut off, or you can execute it immediately. takes about 5 minutes for it to run, but no idea what it actually does
