Can I just say, this is a bit silly. We're getting reverse boosting ranks because high ranked people who wish to have a chance at qualifying must pit during the race and find empty track in order to set 1 lap time right at the end of a 20 minute event.

Basically you're just sunday driving for nothing, then pitting 3 laps before chequered, then finishing p15 or something, completely destroying your rank and stats.

Not to speak of those who get their friends on in order to get slipstream.

I did the SPA races for this challenge just to well.. challenge myself. But won't be bothering with any of the rest (not that it matters as I am a slow poke), but dear God the races are a bad. Super frustrating to have to race with people who have no frigging idea what the challenge actually entails and are trying to win it all on Lap 1. As in all other lobbies where the race is under 60 minutes. Complete waste of time.

Hey everyone, I participated in the McLaren Miami Live sim racing challenge, where top 5 would be contacted by Logitech and get a simulator sent to them. I got top 5 and still haven’t received anything. Just wanted to see if anyone else in the server was at the event, and if anybody else knows what “branch” of Logitech to contact, because I called the main phone number and they said they couldn’t help

Yeah it’s bugged, I was p2 at the start of the race and it took forever to get me in the race then I got a drive through for being to slow then couple laps in game loses all input and crash and force to dnf.
Also boarderless is glitch where it cause crashes and freezes. Only when I put it on boarderless. I put a support ticket to lmu with proof

For the competition the only thing that matter is the fastest lap u can do in the race and to see which position u are u have to go to a race of event in LMU and then up on the screen will appear "Leaderboard"

you look at the leaderboard in game. where you are on the leaderboard doesnt really matter unless you are in the top 2 positions. those are the only spots that qualify

I mean, I had a race just now where I qualied P4, all the top 8 got a DT as P1 span and we all passed (lol) - i came out the DT P18, and got to P8, had another incident, dropped to P12, got back to P9 by the end of the race

Yeah this is why I like knowing how the track responds when you dont drive the racing line, like I find ways to push and pass that arent blocked completely by a car infront of me causing me to brake early into corners

Big examples would be like, how to take a full inside like T1 at Spa, like you take the right of the track, brake as late as you can to hit apex, and hold the inside, forcing the other driver to take a wider line

Since youre driving Spa a lot atm

Knowing how it changes the braking zone etc from driving those lines gives you the options to make so many more moves

but yeah it applies to most corners, if you learn a line that is slower, but gives you the ability to take the inside, or outside, and be side by side

Hey guys does anyone know why the Logitech G923 Racing wheel does not respond in game at all for LMU?? There is no inputs either in the settings.

Hey Zack, so yes ghub has it detected when I load up LMU it also says the wheel is detected. However there is no input mapping for controls.

I can manual Input controls but I don’t know what I should be mapping exactly for g923. There is so menu different inputs.

Ya you have to map everything in the game settings. Kind of a pain at first but itll save after you set it up.

You have to map all sorts of stuff like pit box controls etc

I loaded into a practice session and opened the in game menu to map everything while I sat in the pits.

For me I had to invert the FFB on LMU because instead of centering it was trying to full lock left or right. Almost injured my arm on day 1. The fun of an 18nm DD.

It’s not a matter of settings, it’s just how the game works unfortunately

You can’t really have curves that favour both wheel and controller, it’s sorta one or the other. AC does it quite well though, with some small tweaks to the ADV settings
