When I get home, I'll look to try and do some testing on what my settings are vs what the rs50 defaults are and see if I can see where the difference might be. I'm not getting oscillating so hoping it will show something. As an aside, that auto setting is based on whatever the intensity setting is set to and the car being driven so if intensity is set too high that can create ffb that's too high. I know that's not likely the issue, just an FYI on how the settings work

Yeah, I was used to play 100% intensity on my Moza so when I set it up it was a disaster in terms of strenght lol, I am currently on 50% as per the website and have set the feel/comfort to the strenght and realism almost 99% perfect to my preference, the only issue occurs with the ossiliation, I often drop wheel during long straights to either take a breather or change smth on my second monitor, so it's quite discomforting and dangerous as well, if I get hit in the jaw with this crazy shake 😄

I have different modes that my gear should adjust to when joining games BUT it seems that no matter how I press on a game's window, I must always de-focus it by pressing tabbing out of the game and then tab in to focus on it AGAIN for the mode to switch over.

Is this some kind of bug? What must I do for the game's mode to be switched over immediately upon starting the game?

It's functionally the same wheel. Internals are all the same, g923 has trueforce which I don't think is beneficial for that wheel. Brake spring is a little different too but not noticably better or worse

Sorry for the wall of text. I only play Single Player games, not a competitive player at all. Is it Ok to play a game (Borderlands 4) with 2400 DPI and 0.8 sensitivity. I only use wrist movements, no sweeping hand moves. I think I'm usually overshooting a bit, it's a little hard to pin headshots while moving. I've specifically bought g502 hero today, as I was used to a heavy mouse (Corsair M65). I cannot get used to light ones, may be I just didn't have a good lightweight one. Should I try to retrain myself with some different settings. Or just lower sensitivities in game?

By ‘ok’, yes it is legal to play a game with 2400 DPI and a 0.8 sensitivity, but that’s pretty high, and probably why you’re missing headshots

I'll try to play around with lower sensitivity. If I lower DPI it becomes a pain to navigate menus, I have to lift the mouse several times just to reach the other corner of the screen. But I could try to use 1600 anyway. Is there any good guides on how to find good sensitivity. Some software maybe?

Does your mouse not have a DPI button? I have 800, 1600, and 10,000 DPI modes on my DPI button. Most people typically play on 800 DPI because it’s high enough to be smooth and low enough to filter out tiny micro movements that make your aim shaky.

As for finding a good sensitivity, usually it’s a trial and error sorta thing, i spend several hours on games I’m competitive in purely finding optimal sensitivities. Aimlabs does have an “automatic sensitivity finder” which i found works pretty well but you do have to pay for it (unless you use the free trial)

Yes, but it's a pita to switch them every time for menus, I'm trying to find middle ground. Anyway I'll setup a profile just with 2 preferred modes, one for gameplay and the other for menus/desktop. I think it's just muscle memory, and I can get used to 800 DPI quite fast. Thanks for advice.

Give the aimlabs thingy a try if you’re bothered, it randomly changes your sensitivity while you complete challenges until it fine tunes it to a sensitivity you perform best with, and it can be game specific, but i don’t think borderlands is in the list of games. Only problem is obviously your optimal sensitivity is different when you’re doing different challenges so you’ve gotta find a challenge most relevant to what you want. All good bro 👍

i have the G733 and i moved to corsair. Im having a good experience with them. The G733 lack of bass/highs, but its cheap and i can recomend, the mic is fine afterall, even if there is better probably. Why don't you take some earphones with cable, like the one from the streamers and a external microphone for 30 euros, its a great combo and its cheap, best price to performande if you don't care about a headset or a one piece

I’m not gonna lie you can have a mid range headset and as long as it didn’t sound cheap like “tinny” you can use a program to EQ your headset for any specific game.

Other than that also the type of pad on your headset is gonna do a lot when it comes to bass, don’t use foam pads with no pleather or any kind of cover on it- first of all your sweat will make it stinky- second of all your bass will go everywhere but your ears

these look nice!! I dont think theres a logitech equivalent in this price range also corsair is a good brand. I would cough up the extra cash for Logitech pro x2 lightspeeds but thats only because i know cloth/foam ear cups are not for me and the mic on the corsair is not detachable. its ultimately your preference since you CAN EQ the corsair hs80 and ajust it for whatever you need (footsteps, loud explosions et c)

The mic is flip to mute and many times you don't even notice it, the Pro 2x seems a little too overpriced to me tbh

Even tough with the HS80 for the first 3 weeks or so after a long session my right ear hurted, but that issue is gone

My ear adapted to them, even if they seem to be closed the "airflow" is great, a little worse compared to the G733, but they are more closed. I think some AC will do the job anyway

me too, I want to buy a H shifter to use it with my G920 to get a feeling of a manual car

my G920 can only do automatic or semi automatic

it has the paddles on the back that I can use to shift gears without the clutch but I want to use clutch

I think it is a good way to learn about either manual or automatic cars

the G920 brakes operate on distance traveled. whether that rubber is in there or not, you will never get more pressure out of braking harder unless you can get the pedal to travel further. real cars operate under the more pressure that is applied, the higher the brake presure. thats the whole point behind brake fluid, it cant be compressed like water can

Soz, the software is quite rough around the edges. When you do get it back up consider setting the mouse to Onboard Memory. Then, outside some firmware updates, you can utilize this software which is significantly more stable and doesn't include a lot of the features some people don't care about. Very good option for changing mouse-specific settings like DPI:

they might need that base to configure a new thumbstick to be security compatible. For some reason, a lot of controller manufacturers put layers and layers of checks and security balances in controllers between modules and the main controller chip.

when I had my pro wheel looked at for support I had a similar issue. I think the way they serialise their items does distinguish between just a wheelbase and the bundle. I worked thru the supprt here and was able to communicate that I only needed help with the base but it seems like it might be a flaw in their SN system and what they require be included with warranty stuff

I, personally, think the G502X is the same as the G502 but improved in almost any way.
Great for nostalgia and familiarity but also modern options like USB-C charging and a much cleaner gamer-aesthetic that isn't as.... "pointy". 😛

With three options you can do wired, wireless, or fancy RGB. Great for a variety of budgets but all solid.

It does look like they didn't quite get all wording correctly. Overall, we aren't 100% positive what is being accepted. I think the newest gear and some pro racing gear is completely exempt for a while.

I do believe that the superstrike is excluded for being the newest in their mice line.
