Most keyboards or mice have a certain resistance against spillages, but i don’t think that keyboard possesses an IP rating against water resistance, so if it still works, he’s gotten lucky.

Remove the keycaps and give it a gentle clean i suppose 🤷‍♂️

there is less risk because there is no metal contact that sends the signal so it is a little less prone to liqud damage. they are sealed teh same way as any other switch

I lightly clean the key switches with rubbing alcohol 70%

if the sugar in the soda dries on any exposed circuitry, it can cause issues but if its still working, its unlikely that happened. the switches come out with a switch puller and can be pulled apart to clean pretty well

You may have to be more specific if you're looking for community support.
Some things like mousepads that are too soft.. or if you are using a couch/bed can have issues with a variety of sensors. Same with some glass pads.

Hello, I have a question. Would I go wrong with choosing the Logitech Pro 2 Lightspeed over the Superlight series? As much as I want the superlight I am left-handed so my decision is leaning towards the lightspeed, but I may reconsider if the pros outweighs the cons. I did my research and one thing that stood out in lightspeed is the noticeable higher input delay than other mouse like superlight (if I remember it correctly). I wonder if that would make or break my gameplay and everyday work. I don't really have any preferences when it comes to design (I like black color though), grip type and budget. My hand measurement is 18cm x 9cm. If the superlight is as good as people say it to be would it justify ditching the right side buttons for the performance? I also value durability and would prefer if the mouse lasts for years.

Yes I have one. So a lot of times it still has the information for the previous controller, or it just says numbers. It’s a lot of trial and error or you could memorize the numbers. I don’t have a solution just try to memorize.

im playing carX. so like in game while driving if you have to press a to pick up a blue print that woud be a "controller" function not "wheel" it doesnt register. then when i map it to the keys in ghub it switches in game to keyboard so for example in game rb and lb are for radial menu and the stats. if i set them as e and q because in settings they werent working as lb and rb they stop working as lb and rb in game for radial menur but work for e and q for settings

usually they send replacements not repairs but that depends on country and warranty. I have seen replacement switch boards for the mouse online on sites like amazon for the gpx that replace the entire small pcb the switches are soldered to with hot swap sockets so you can pick and replace them as needed. That might be a solid option to look into

I've been using my G502x Plus for 1 year and 2 months. No double clicking issues on the main 2 buttons, but it's starting to appear on my back button next to the G logo. Cleaning it fixed the issue, though I should've done a better job in keeping my mouse clean in the first place.

The infite scroll wheel and the programmable buttons have been super helpful for my After Effects and Blender workflow too. Other cheaper gaming mouses probably have higher polling rates compared to this one's max 1000Hz, but I don't play thicc competitive games & I haven't found any other mouse with 1000Hz and 13 programable buttons (including the scroll wheel's left/middle/right click!), ....though I should've gotten the non-RGB G502X Lightspeed version for longer battery life.

Initially I wished I got the MX Master, but changed my mind when I heard about the ridiculously low polling rate (I have a 180Hz monitor screen so it will definitely affect my experience and habitual comfort)

G502X has newer switches compared to the old G502 Hero, which I assume is the reason why it hasnt double clicked.

Only issue with the whole experience, was the 5 different people on one email chain asking you the same questions

I guess manufacturers can vary. My friend's old G502 lasted around 4 years before it double clicked.

My older G402 Hyperion Fury from 2015 lasted 10 years. It double clicked on 2018 before it stopped, and started double clicking again in 2024. Pretty darn battlescarred, but the quality is immaculate

Doesn't really matter what you are used to that much when it comes to aim training drills. You get used to it really fast.

Also you can just put ads to toggle. Put the ads fov at 90 if you want to try using 90 fov. Then just leave it permanently zoomed in

But I don't think that would be accurate to cs fov setup. It would simply match one number saying 90 but it wouldn't actually be the same as in cs if I remember correctly

I don't think it's a placebo because I've tried it at different times over two years, and the difference is clear even with other wired mice like the Model O. The wireless system doesn't feel the same, and I don't feel any strain on my hand nerves like I do with wired. There was also some skipping happening, maybe signal loss. If you tried it on my setup, you would say there's no issue, but I'm a Kovaaks player, and this difference is very important to me.

I dont have a glass pad so my knowledge is a little limited there, but have you tried changing the "gaming surface mode" option in the settings? in the gpx2, there were people having similar issues but found results by changing the setting that mode on. If it is currently on or auto, try turning it off

interesting. when the gpx2 first came out and introduced the feature, the only options were auto and on and the mouse was struggling with glass. I thought firmware updates had made it better for the sensor logitech uses but they also added an off option to use if needed. If turning it off doesnt fix it, you at least have another check you did if you need to end up working with support on a fix

So I upgraded from the G703 to the X2 Super strike. At first I noticed the quality and it was kind of a disappointment due to being used to how sturdy the G703 feels. But I quickly adapted to the change and I’m impressed with how good the mouse feels in game. Overall I’m happy with this upgrade.
