I'm 100% okay with scenarios having a bit of variance and such - that happens in regular scenarios too, especially the tracking ones on Kovaaks. Sometimes you have bots that are easier, and sometimes you have Neo from The Matrix.
But... Tasks like Dropshot are so incredibly RNG heavy that it becomes borderline unfair and to a point where you can't even call it an aiming competition anymore.
Exhibit A: The targets in the last phase are in spots that never enter the player's LOS. This happens SUPER often, where I'm about to beat a record, and then 4 or 5 of the targets are behind cover in unreachable spots.
Exhibit B: The spawn logic/RNG of the second phase. SO MANY TIMES, I've had runs where I don't have a target in front of me for 0.5-1 second at a time, and others I've had runs where I barely had to move the mouse. The ground bots sort of circumvent that, except for the fact that they also go behind cover often so you can't hit them.
This is incredibly frustrating when you get a good first cycle and then you get screwed on the second one, or you get a good second cycle, and then 5-6 of the targets decide to hide on the third cycle.
And keep in mind, this is coming from someone who is 148 on the task RN.
